Beginning February 22, 2010, major newspapers all over the world are presenting one of the 100 innovations every week over two years. Further information on each innovation is available on this website.

This platform has two levels of membership and therefore depth of information offered:

1. As a guest, you can read short introductions to the innovations so far published, and access videos introducing the topic.


2. Once you have registered as a member, you can
   
   
   • read the detailed 4 part Business Cases of how the business models work
   • discuss possible applications, experiences and opinions in group forums
   • chat with and contact other members to find partners, form teams or receive advice
   • blog about your own project implementing a "blue innovation" or even present a "blue innovation" of your own, if it meets the 21 principles of The Blue Economy®:
     
     
     • Which innovation are you applying – and in what cultural, ecological and economic context?
     • At what stage of the implementation is your project?
     • Do you see a first success or are there some difficulties which you are just about to master or where you require support from others?


3. If all this inspires you to become active in implementing one of the innovations in your region or industry, you can register your project by submitting a single-page summary of your business idea and background. We will then give you access to the documentation of the innovations as well as putting you in touch with the innovators and other experts of the field.
