For our project “Business in a Box” we are currently offering a

Master Thesis with internship.

The thesis should lay out what structures and forms of implementation can best support the spreading of Blue Economy business models in emerging and developing markets, exploring what an adapted IP-protection could look like. This theoretical setup will at the same time be tested, rolling out the first five to ten examples.

You are a student of business, economics and/or with a focus on sustainability. You have exceptional analytical skills and are fluent in English. A high Internet affinity is a given. We expect openness and a high willingness to acquire new skills and mindsets – so that we can jointly and continuously grow.

The internship should last six months, during which the Master Thesis can also be written.

Chido UG collects coffee grounds in major cities and cultivates gourmet mushrooms on these, which are sold to restaurants and at farmer's markets. We have the necessary know how from our shareholder Chido Govera – who spreads her knowledge to orphans and village communities, significantly increasing food security and improving livelihoods.

We are currently broadening our product portfolio from fresh produce to include non-perishable and convenience products. In this endeavour, we hope to receive support from

cooks

who develop recipes with us, test them and possibly sell them on to customers. We have in mind BBQ-oysters, caipirinha mushrooms or pink morsels...

The basis of our cooperation should be our common joy in experimenting. Once successful products emerge, participatory models are possible, ideally models that benefit our projects in developing countries.

If you are interested in working with us, please send an Email to
